So the band’s named after the cantina band from Star Wars, we’re playing on May 4th (AKA Star Wars Day) at a new venue and we thought we’d use it as an excuse to dress up like Star Wars characters and whip our lightsabers out!! So if you love Star Wars and you love Max Rebo then get your Star Wars costumes on and join us at The Bear Inn, Weston-super-Mare on May 4th! Prizes for anyone that dresses their pet like the example below!!

Some of you may have heard that Nick has decided to leave Max Rebo and we can now confirm that this is unfortunately true. He leaves with the best wishes from the band and he will always be a member of the Max Rebo family. We will be having a huge goodbye gig on the 2nd March at The Brit Bar so make sure you’re there to see the original Max Rebo for the last time. Just to put your worries for the bands future to rest, we have been busy rehearsing a new set with new guitarist Timmy Jones and will be debuting the new line up on 30th March at The New Market.
Max Rebo will be playing their last gig of the year this Friday 7th December at The Observatory in Weston-super-Mare. Please make sure you come along and support the band and wish them a Merry Xmas!! Needless to say the band are already booked for 2013 and in to double figures already so make sure you check us out at one of the many shows you can see by clicking here. We also want to take the opportunity to plug a gig on the 15th December at The New Market in Weston-super-Mare featuring some of the guys from the band – Turn to Stone and Duke Uke’em will be playing live and it will be amazing!! Max Rebo start off their mini tour on the 4th August at The New Market in Weston-super-Mare. This is followed up with a gig at The Anchor in Bristol on the 11th August, The Brit Bar in Weston on the 18th August, Private Party at the Green Baize on the 24th August and finishes at the Boro Sports & Social Club on the 25th August. Keep your support coming, it’s massively appreciated!!
The Tunnels’ Inuaguaral “MUSART” Festival 2012 – 9 solid hours of Live Music mixed with Exhibits, demonstrations and Original Art to be raffled and auctioned. 8 Acoustic acts on main stage, 7 busking acts in bar area with the evening culminating with headlining acts – Temple Circus, Max Rebo and Mango Factory – all that for just a tenner!!! All proceeds raised for Sue Ryder Charity.
